Poem of Rejoice

Let us rejoice in the glorious liquid that is tequila
For the floor has never been as comfortable

Let us give thanks for the slow walkers on campus
For they give us something to curse at daily

Let us rejoice in the falling of bikers on the quad
They make walking to class nearly as challenging as crossing Main Street at 3

Let us celebrate coffee and coffee houses such as the Garlic Press
They aid us in mornings that come too soon after nights

Thank all for Guitar Hero
The one saving grace to a boring night

Let us rejoice for friends
For they are the ones who remind us of nights we can’t remember

Let us rejoice for beer
For it tastes like piss yet its so cheap we’ll drink it

Let us rejoice for beds that are our own
For it is never a surprise to wake up in them

Let us give thanks for Prime-Time
Cheep pizza any time of the night

Have faith in your own toilet
For others might get backed up

Let us give thanks for Long Island Iced Teas
For it is the nectar of gods

Let us give thanks for college
The last time we have for no-consequence actions
